EDDIE'S QUESTIONS

COUNTER-ASSAULT ON ANIME

I was at "Anime Central" in Rosemont, Illinois 10 years ago.

MODERN PAGES (FTL)

Some more pages from the modern incarnation of The Funny Things List:

(I've re-glued the binding in this sketchbook several times, so the text along the center spine is difficult to scan. Some of the casualties include: easy mac, the latin invasion of 1999, donnie darko, bullet time, disney's nine old men, and fat camp.)

As always, suggestions are welcome.

PIZZA VS. DEPRESSION

"If you're so depressed, how come you're eating pizza?"

ANTHROPOLOGY

Masques Primitifs is a neat book I found at the Newberry Library Book Fair several years back for $2. It contains about 30 or so pictures of ancient masks from around the world. Written and photographed by I.L. Schneider, published in 1951.

These are some good ones, (unfortunately they are not dated):

SATCHEL GO-GO DANCERS

A long lost saturday morning cartoon from the 1980's, airing between The Snorks and The Smurfs (sharing the same hideous color scheme that was so popular back then).

So eat a bowl of cereal while you look at this.

BOLINGBROOK BENNIGAN'S

I don't think there was ever a positive experience at Bennigan's in all the times I went there.

PAINTED CEL

The ink is starting to smear because it's just been sitting in a stack of papers. I thought I'd better scan it before it gets too destroyed.

Someone told me this chef guy looks like Peter Lorre:
