KISSING A SNAKE

A Burmese priestess must lure a king cobra from his cave and kiss him three times on the brow in order to bring fertility to the women of her village.

ANTHROPOLOGY

Masques Primitifs is a neat book I found at the Newberry Library Book Fair several years back for $2. It contains about 30 or so pictures of ancient masks from around the world. Written and photographed by I.L. Schneider, published in 1951.
